This fringed, hand knit (by me!), newborn baby blanket afghan throw photo prop with a buttery cream base and fringe on two sides in taupe, ivory, beige, tan and more can also be used as a hammock sling!

I appreciate the support of my customers and look forward to working with you (my other shop is http://www.etsy.com/shop/CricketsCreations where I'm thankful to have received 1000+ positive feedbacks)!

Thank you so much to Deanna Nickerson in Henderson, Tennessee at http://www.nickersonphotography.com/ for sharing her professional photography skills!

I use 3 strands of strong, durable yarn for the base (shown here in butter cream, please let me know which colors you'd like for the base of the throw I design specifically for you).

Then I add one foot of thick, beautiful fringe on each end. Again, feel welcome to ask me to customize for you!

There's quite a bit of stretch in the throw to play with during photo shoots. If this blanket is not stretched at all, then it's 2 feet wide and 3.5 feet with the fringe. It stretches to 4 feet or more wide.

These also come in large size for grown ups and make fantastic wedding, anniversary, graduation or housewarming gifts:

**Important Note: My openwork throws only work as a photography prop for short periods under direct supervision; they're not functioning baby blankets and are for professional use only. Other accessories and, ahem, babies not included. ;)

Only soft, designer, vintage or novelty yarns (vegan). No allergenic animal fibers to irritate subjects with sensitive skin.

Designed & created in the clean, fresh, high desert air in the heart of the Grand Canyon Country, USA (no perfume, cigarette or pet odors)

Hand wash in cool water with mild soap. Resist wringing to dry. Dry flat.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

The very first of these blankets was a special request from an expectant mother (see the original from Feb, 2009 at http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=13827129 ) ...she wanted a blanket in the same open, lacy, elastic stitch that I use when I make many of my scarves. Thanks for the great idea, Jenny!
