Crochet baby cap and booties in yellow and orange with petal edging.

Fruit sorbet on a warm summer day! That's what the colors of this set remind me of. The shape of the cap is reminiscent of old fashioned rain hats.

Complimentary shades of orange and yellow acrylic yarn (Caron's Simply Soft) were used to create this set.

The cap measures approximately 12 inches in circumference which is edged with a spikey crochet trim.

Coordinating booties are sized for a 0-3 months baby. The soles measure about 3 1/2 inches long. The booties are secured with a soft tie lacing.

Although these colors would work well for a boy or a girl, I think the style is more suited for a little girl. This set would make a perfect baby shower gift for the mother-to-be.

Please hand wash or machine wash on delicate cycle. You may tumble dry on low heat or allow to drip dry.
