Product Description
Fiber is hand washed, and carded into roving. You may notice a small amount of vegetable matter (VM) as my fibers are gently processed - no harsh chemical treatments to dissolve vegetation or clean the fibers. It is also your assurance of the highest quality fiber, as it has not been weakened or damaged by processing.

Fiber Details: Roving is 60% Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) and Shetland wool and 40% mohair. The high mohair content gives the skein a beautiful luster and slight halo. The high mohair content ensures that products made from the roving are longer lasting and more lustrous than pure wool. Entirely USA made of fiber from USA raised sheep and goats (primarily from my own animals).

Color: This roving has natural black mohair as the main component to which red, yellow and blue were added randomly. Red is the most dominant of the added colors. See the sample single photo above for an idea of how it will spin up.

Uses: Best suited to uses where durability is more important than super softness to the skin, such as knitted/crocheted outer wear, rug hooking or weaving.

Approx. 2 oz or 85g, discounts available for larger amounts

Care: Hand wash, air dry. Can be felted.

Creation Details: Entirely USA made of fiber from my Angora goats and BFL sheep, supplemented with fibers from other small USA farmers. Dancing Waters Farm is a smokefree, animal friendly farm, (no animals are taken to slaughter) which is why the majority of my fibers are from goats more than three years old. Roving was carded to my specifications in Michigan, USA.
