A trio of picture jasper stones hang from a triple spiral seed bead weave in this one of a kind, handcrafted, bold and chunky style necklace. The seed bead colors highlight and accent the colors in the picture jasper stones. The lines of the spiral weave are done in seed beads of white lined brown, matte transparent amber and oyster sheen, which has a pearl look to it. These wrap around a spiral core done in black beads, which peek out in places to highlight the black in the stones. Picture jasper chips are randomly woven into the chain and give a lush texture to the spiral weave. This necklace has a wonderful, earthy look to it.

The necklace will adjust from 20 inches (51cm.) to 22 inches (57cm.) by using the second loop in the peyote toggle and loop closure. Each end of the peyote toggle has a 4mm bronze fire polished Czech crystal on it.

Bold earrings with teardrop shaped picture jasper stones are included with this necklace. They are also done in a triple spiral weave in the same colors as the necklace. They are approximately 2 1/2 inches (6cm.) long and hang from hypo-allergenic surgical steel ear wires.

It is believed that picture jasper helps with the re-evaluation of life's issues. It is also associated with contentment, compassion, tranquility, and wholeness.

I prefer using beads that highlight and compliment the color of the stones I am using. Choosing the beads colors that went with these stones was an enjoyable challenge. It took several tries before finding the beads I was happy with.
