This hand woven teal agate slice seed bead necklace really makes a large statement. The agate slice is 3 1/2 in. long and 2 1/2 in. wide (a little over 8 cm. by a little over 6cm.). The chain is 28 inches long and combined with the agate slice, it's a little over 30 in.(77 cm) in length.

The teal colors in the agate range from a dark, pure teal to a light, almost jade color, with a little touch of white towards the center.

The triple spiral chain that it hangs from is made from matte teal and jade size 11 seed beads, transparent teal and jade seed beads, and silver lined aqua Delicas. I also added some 6mm teal fire polished crystals to the spiral. The large, size 6 green seed beads are the core of the spiral.

The agate slice is held securely by a right angle weave (RAW)bezel done in the same colors as the spiral with smaller teal and white size 15's added to snug up the bezel to the agate.

The necklace closes with a peyote toggle and loop closure.

The coordinating tassel earrings are made from the same bead colors as the necklace chain and bezel and the strands hang from a 6mm fire polished tea crystal. They are on surgical steel ear wires and are approx. 1.1/2 in. (4cm) long.

Another in the series "Sue is addicted to beading agate slices" series. I just can't seem to stop. I've loved agate slices since I was little and still do.
