Three shades of pink seed beads highlight the beautiful pink of this 40mm Rose Quartz Kokopelli one of a kind artisan necklace. This 16 inch (40.64 cm.) double spiral seed bead weave, choker length necklace has a lot of sparkle to it.

The core of the double spiral weave are frosted clear seed beads, while light pink, ceylon pink (a pearl finish) and AB pink seed beads wrap around the core. The AB pink beads are beads that have an aurora borealis finish. They have a multi color finish on them that show different shades of pink, depending on the angle you see them from. They add a delicate shimmer to the necklace.

The Kokopelli focal stone is attatched to the spiral weave necklace by a bail of 4mm round rose quartz beads and transparent light pink seed beads. It is woven deep into the spiral weave to keep it secure. Including the Kokopelli focal stone, the total length of the necklace is 18 inches (45.72 cm.).

The closure on this necklace is a peyote stitch loop and toggle. Each end of the peyote toggle has a 4mm round rose quartz bead.

The earrings that are included with this necklace are also done in a spiral weave using the same colors as in the necklace and they have rose quartz chips woven into the spiral. They hang on surgical steel hypo-allergenic ear wires. The earrings are approximately 2 inches (5cm.) long.

It is believed that rose quartz enhances all forms of love and that it opens our hearts and encourages us to be peaceful, tender and gentle. It is also believed to teach tolerance and forgiveness.

Most of the familiar Kokopelli depictions are copied from Hopi art and those have derived from ancient Anasazi rock carvings. These date back over 3000 years. There are many legends surrounding this flute playing traveler who is known as a fertility god, prankster, healer and story teller. He is the only petroglyph to have a name, an identity and a gender.
