A teardrop shaped 3 x 2 cm ocean jasper focal bead, in this one of a kind necklace, hangs from a woven double spiral seed bead chain. The bead colors in the double spiral were chosed to highlight and accent the colors in the focal stone. Those colors are olive green, topaz and ceylon cream, which has a pearl finish. The spiral weave chain has a lot of texture to it from the ocean jasper chips that are randomly woven into the spiral.

The necklace is 14 inches (35.56 cm.) and will adjust to 15 inches (38.10 cm.) depending on which loop of the peyote and toggle closure you choose. Each end of the peyote toggle has an ocean jasper chip on it.

The earrings that are included with this necklace are done in a spiral weave using the same colors as in the necklace. They also have ocean jasper chips woven into them and a jasper chip on the end. They are approximately 1 1/2 inches (3.5 cm.) long and hang from hypo-allergenic surgical steel ear wires.

aspers are believed to be associated with relaxation, contentment, nurturing and tranquillity. It is also believed to be good for those who need more organizational abilities.

I love jaspers and agates and had this bead and her sisters in my bead stash. I haven't decided what the sisters will be wearing when they come to the party.
