This one of a kind, five stone Green Apatite Retro 60's bead embroidered cuff is done in assorted shades of lime, chartreuse, yellow, and orange. The pattern is paisley, with the apatite stones being the center of the design. The Matsuno and Miyuki seed beads have transparent, transparent silver lined, matte, matte silver lined finishes help give this paisley cuff a visual texture. The colors compliment each other well.

This cuff is embroidered on no fray interfacing and is backed with a very light tan color ultra suede. The ultra suede gives the cuff a very soft feel against your wrist. The cut of the cuff follows the outline of the beaded paisley design so it flows in a smooth, curvy way. The cuff will fit an approximately 7-8 inch (17-20 cm.) wrist. The clasp is a beaded toggle and loop closure done the same color beads as the cuff. Faceted lime green 4mm Czech crystals are on the end of the toggle. It is approximately 2 1/4 inches (5 cm) wide at the widest points.

This design was inspired by my reconnecting with people I went to school with in the 60's and 70's. We formed a hometown group on FB and have been talking about everything from clothes, music and politics to surfing. It took me down memory lane and one day, as I was looking at my stones and beads, waiting for an idea to occur, I came across the green apatite stones. I thought about centering them in a design, which evolved into the stones being the center of a paisley design. I loved the wild, bright color combinations of the 60's and 70's, so it was easy to go through my bead supply and find the colors I wanted to use. This cuff was a joy to make. Including the design time, this bracelet took about 50 hours to make.
