'Andromeda Ascending' is a gorgeous 2 drop peyote stitch pendant featuring a stunning raku button by Lisa Peters Art here on ArtFire. The pendant itself is made from galvenized silver triangle beads in 2 sizes, and matte iris 'E' beads in the fringe.

THe actual necklace portion is made from hand dyed silk shibori ribbon by ShiboriGirl here on ArtFire. It has been wrapped with a single strand of the matter iris 'E' beads and the larger sized galvenized silver triangle beads, then stitched into place with more triangle beads.

The beaded end caps are again made from the triangle beads and 'E' beads, then topped off with a sterling silver 'stardust coated' toggle clasp.

The entire beadwork has been hand beaded using 6lb Fireline for strength and durability.

The overall effect is one of lightness and looks delicate, yet anchored by a substantial pendant. Very easy to wear, and guarenteed to catch the eye of anyone who sees it.
