'Momiji gari' is the Japanese custom of autumn leaf watching and occurs from Sept through November.

'Momiji gari' is so named for this practice because of the colors of the gorgeous cashmere (Artyarns cashmere 5) fingering yarn used in the 16 strand kumihimo braid, reminiscent of autumn leaves.

The ends have been hand beaded in peyote stitch, using Matsuno seed beads in iridescent reds, iridescent gold and matte silver lined gold.

Along the length of the cuff, more Matsuno beads have been randomly stitched, to add a touch of sparkle, like the sunlight through the leaves.

The clasp is formed of more Matsuno seed beads in a beaded toggle and loop. All with 6lb FireLine.

Soft, yet slightly heavy, 'Momiji gari' is a dramatic cuff for all seasons.
