This lovely red malachite pendant necklace is approximately 18 inches long and made of 6mm peach colored Czech glass beads and copper 6/0 Czech beads.



The clasp is copper.



The bead measures 50mm and both sides are shown.

This gorgeous creamy gemstone with its pale red banding is known to most people as red malachite.

However, this gemstone is actually a banded jasper. Like all jasper, it's part of the chalcedony "family."

The "marriage" of jasper's lovely colors with malachite's fine banding makes red malachite unusually beautiful.
