This parasol has as its base a vintage umbrella with red fabric, and a winter white plastic handle with a paint splatter pattern in rusty red. Each of its 10 ribs is decorated with deep red gimp trim, and the edges are finished with 2.5" red lace, over 12 yards of lace and trim total. The perfect accessory for your Steampunk, lolita, or gothic wardrobe!

This piece is good in both rain and shine. There is some staining to the fabric from age, but I believe it lends to the character and beauty of each of these parasols.

I originally began creating these parasols for myself, as skin cancer runs in the family, and I received so many compliments on them, so I've begun offering them for sale. I start with new or vintage pieces and embellish them.

Shipping charges for parasols and hats are higher to accommodate for increased postal rates for odd-sized packages. Parasols are sent parcel post, so please allow 7-10 days for delivery. (Priority mail postage for parasols runs about US $40.00 at the new postal rates for odd oversized packages. If you wish quicker delivery, please contact me at time of purchase to make arrangements for additional postal fees.) Return receipt available at purchaser's request, at standard postal rates.
