SALE Steampunk Lolita OOAK Parasol Tan with Ivory Braid and Green Trim

Product Description

A vintage umbrella or parasol, with 10 ribs, of a tan colored fabric, is decorated with almost 15 yards of braid, lace, and beaded trim. There is some slight staining to the fabric, but otherwise it is in excellent shape. The handle is of a brown or amber colored lucite, with a silver filigree fitting at the juncture between handle and stem. It has occasionally begun to not stay closed, so I have added an ivory braid tie to correct this - not pictured.

Perfect for the Steampunk lady adventurer out and about in the world, to protect from rain or shine.

Closed, it measures 30" long, and when opened it is 35" in diameter. It can serve in either rain or shine to protect the user.

I originally began creating these parasols for myself, as skin cancer runs in the family, and I received so many compliments on them, so I've begun offering them for sale. I start with new or vintage pieces and embellish them.

Shipping charges for parasols and hats are higher to accommodate for increased postal rates for odd-sized packages. Parasols are sent parcel post, so please allow 7-10 days for delivery. (Priority mail postage for parasols runs about US $40.00 at the new postal rates for odd oversized packages. If you wish quicker delivery, please contact me at time of purchase to make arrangements for additional postal fees.) Return receipt available at purchaser's request, at standard postal rates.
