Protect yourself from the evil yellow hurtie thing with this oh-so-gothic parasol!

A black parasol has been covered on alternating panels in purple fabric with a silver spiderweb pattern and with royal purple ribbon in a faux lacing panel. The fabric has a bright purple or deep blue tint, depending on which way the light hits it. The parasol is then finished with almost 19 yards of lavender and black braid and black Venice lace. The pictures don't accurately capture the purple of the ribbon - it's darker than it appears in the pictures, a true royal shade.

Opened, this piece is 25" in diameter, and closed it measures 31.5" in length. There is a very slight curve to the handle.

I originally began creating these parasols for myself, as skin cancer runs in the family, and I received so many compliments on them, so I've begun offering them for sale. I start with new or vintage pieces and embellish them.

Shipping charges for parasols and hats are higher to accommodate for increased postal rates for odd-sized packages. Parasols are sent parcel post, so please allow 7-10 days for delivery. (Priority mail postage for parasols runs about US US $40.00 at the new postal rates for odd oversized packages.
