This one of a kind parasol has as its base a vintage umbrella with a fantastic red, black and ivory pattern. It is embellished with 14 yards of black braid and bright red ruffled trim, all hand-sewn. The handle is of resin, two tone, black and ivory. Put a little color in your Steampunk wardrobe!

I originally began creating these parasols for myself, as skin cancer runs in the family, and I received so many compliments on them, so I've begun offering them for sale. I start with new or vintage pieces and embellish them.

Shipping charges for parasols and hats are higher to accommodate for increased postal rates for odd-sized packages. Parasols are sent parcel post, so please allow 7-10 days for delivery. (Priority mail postage for parasols runs about US US US US $40.00 at the new postal rates for odd oversized packages. If you wish quicker delivery, please contact me at time of purchase to make arrangements for additional postal fees.) Return receipt available at purchaser's request, at standard postal rates.
