A fabulous vintage umbrella, red fabric with a border of hot pink roses in full bloom, has been accented with 14 yards of ivory braid and hot pink Venice lace, all hand-sewn. This piece has 10 ribs and a metal shaft. Bright and cheerful color! The curved handle is hot pink plastic with an iridescent, or cats' eye, sheen. Open, it is 34" in diameter, and closed it is 30" in length.

vintage umbrella, lace, braid

I originally began creating these parasols for myself, as skin cancer runs in the family, and I received so many compliments on them, so I've begun offering them for sale. I start with new or vintage pieces and embellish them.

Shipping charges for parasols and hats are higher to accommodate for increased postal rates for odd-sized packages. Parasols are sent parcel post, so please allow 7-10 days for delivery. (Priority mail postage for parasols runs about US US US US US $40.00 at the new postal rates for odd oversized packages. If you wish quicker delivery, please contact me at time of purchase to make arrangements for additional postal fees.) Return receipt available at purchaser's request, at standard postal rates.
