Seraphinite is a fairly soft gemstone, and comes from the mineral chlinochlore. Seraphinite is named for the silvery white feather like patterns on a dark green background. It is said that this stone restores health and balance, helps to maintain one's "center", and increases energy. Origin of this stone is in the Lake Baikal region of Siberia. My inspiration for creating this pendant comes from nature, on a wintery day walking a snowy trial through a pine forest. Snow covered pine tree branches; the white contrasting with the green is much like this stone.
