Each Fiji coin is mounted in a handmade 14kt gold filled bezel and connected to a silver plated curb link chain. Silver colored detailed fish charm beads with copper wire wrapping dangle from this bracelet. Large silver plated lobster claw clasp completes this bracelet.

The designs on these coins of Fiji highlight the culture of these Pacific Islands. The Republic of Fiji consists of about 320 islands, located in the Southwestern Pacific ocean. After 2 military coups, Fiji left the British Commonwealth in 1987. However, it returned to the British Commonwealth in 1997.

All of my coin jewelry is set in bezels, they are never defaced in any way such as drilling holes, soldering connectors to coins, hammering, or bending. My coins are left in as is condition, except for one thing, I gently clean my coins, so that they shine and show detail. Although, coin collectors do not clean their coins because they desire their coins left as it was found, I need to clean my coins for using it in jewelry and so you can see the design details.
