This is a unique design that you will only find here in my studio. What distinguishes this Indian head penny from other coin pendants is the chainmaille copper links that are crafted by hand and used as a bail to suspend this coin. Also unique is the necklace chain that comes with the pendant which is made of copper. This 1902 Indian Head one cent coin pendant has been mounted in a 14 kt gold filled handmade bezel. The necklace chain is made of oxidized copper links and is 21 inches long. The length of the necklace can be adjusted to shorter lengths, just move the copper clasp to the desired length.

* Made of Bronze (95% copper and 5% tin and zinc).

* Indian Head one-cent coin, also known as an Indian Penny.

* The obverse of the coin shows "United States of America," the head of Liberty wearing a feather head dress of a Native American and the year of production.

* The reverse of the coin features "ONE CENT" within a wreath of oak and olive tied at the base with a ribbon with a Federal shield above.

* Indian Penny , was produced by the United States Mint from 1859 to 1909.

All of my coin jewelry is set in bezels, they are never defaced in any way such as drilling holes, soldering connectors to coins, hammering, or bending. My coins are left in as is condition.
