This coin dangle bracelet consists of five coins from Australia and New Zealand accented with 10mm gold plated round beads. The coins are mounted in handcrafted gold filled bezels. Coins are 18mm in diameter and the silver coins are 21mm. The gold filled bezels were cut and soldered to fit each coin and connected to a gold plated link chain.

Two of the copper coins ((97% copper, 2.5% zinc, 0.5% tin) are from Australia depicts a feathertail glider, which grows to about 15cm in length. The animal is commonly known as the 'flying mouse'. The reverse side of the coin is the profile of Queen Elizabeth II.

The silver colored coins (Cupronickel, 75% Copper, 25% nickel) are also from Australia. It is a design that depicts a spiny anteater or echidna, similar to a small porcupine. The echidna, which grows to 45cm in length, belongs to a family of egg-laying mammals called monotremes and is found throughout much of Australia. The design views the animal from underneath, curled up for protection. Queen Elizabeth II appears on the other side of the coin.

The bronze coin from New Zealand shows an image of the Silver Fern, a species of fern that is found on the main islands of New Zealand. The reverse side of the coin is the profile of Queen Elizabeth II.

All of my coin jewelry is set in bezels, they are never defaced in any way such as drilling holes, soldering connectors to coins, hammering, or bending. My coins are left in as is condition, except for one thing, I gently clean my coins, so that they shine and show detail. Although, coin collectors do not clean their coins because they desire their coins left as it was found, I need to clean my coins for using it in jewelry and so you can see the design details.
