As seen in the October/November 2009 issue of Quilter's Home Magazine... a mini mosaic you can wear! With a width of 1 1/4 inches and a height of just over 1 1/2 inches tall (including the silver-plated bail), this pendant reminds me of an old quilt... sturdily stitched by loving hands and softened by years of washing and constant affection. The warm-toned tiles have been cut and arranged by hand, sealed with 2 coats of a mixture of Weldbond and water, then coated with acrylic gloss. The wooden base has been stained and sealed with acrylic sealer for protection. Although completely sealed, this pendant is water resistant but not waterproof and should be removed before bathing or swimming. * This listing is for pendant only... shown in photos with the chocolate brown suede cording available as a separate listing in the "for your neck (necklaces)" section of my shop.
