This painting took a little over 2 weeks to complete. I'm not used to taking so much time on a single painting, but I'm loving the results.

Painting seems to come in waves for me. Paint like a madman, then don't touch a brush for a little while. Ride the Fire is the first painting after a short break.

It's kind of like surfing. Ride the wave, then swim back out to catch the next one.

Er... I don't actually surf, but it sure sounds good, don't it?
