Boann is the Goddess of the White Cow. As on of the Tuatha De Dannan, she was married (ether to Nechtan or Elcmar depending on the source). She became pregnant by her lover, the Dagda, and rather than get caught, he made the sun stand still so her son, Aengus, was conceived, gestated and born in one day.

This necklace measures about 17" from floral clasp to floral clasp and the pendant hangs another approximately 1 1/2" below it.
