Pink polka dot tree beaded necklace:

This polymer clay pendant necklace features a whimsy hand-painted tree of dots, paired with sparkling glass and crystal beads in delicate pink shades.

I painted the tree and its "fruit" with mixtures of liquid polymer clay and glittery eyeshadow. The design is permanently baked in, and slightly raised. The pendant is coated with a thin layer of polyurethane for added shine.
I chose baby-pink crystal bi-cone beads to match the pendant, along with rose glass seed beads. This necklace is perfect for most anyone, and its short style also makes it suitable for preteens. I would not give it to a young child that puts things in their mouth.
Necklace measures 18 inches and closes with a rhodium plated spring ring clasp. Strung on nylon coated jewelry wire.

Being able to paint my own pendants is exciting! I love polymer clay.
