This unique cylinder shaped glass pendant is accented with beautiful glass beads. The necklace measures appx. 16.5" in length and the tear drop glass beads reflect the iridescent blue dichroic glass in the orange swirls of the pendant. The clasp is sterling silver.
The pendant measures 2 5/8" including the sterling silver plated bail and was made in the "pot melt" style. For those of you not familiar with "pot melt" - it is a term used to describe a technique where pieces of glass are placed in a container or pot with a hole in the bottom. The pot is then elevated above a tray or container. As the kiln heats up, the glass begins to melt and flow through the hole in the bottom of the pot and onto the tray below. The resulting design of the glass is determined by the melting glass itself. It is always a surprise to open the kiln and see what awaits

This is a lovely necklace and comes in a decorative gift box ready to give to that special someone (perhaps yourself?).

This is a mother/daughter collaboration. I make the pendants and my daughter does the beading. She does a wonderful job enhancing the look of my pendants.

I made the mold myself for the cylinder shaped pot melt.
