This mixed media wall piece has a background of pieces of siding painted to affect the weathered look and simplicity of an old shed. The top are dried portions of the fruit of palm fronds. The stylized design of the family is made from opaque, clear and dichroic glass fused together in the kiln and properly annealed for strength and durability. The faces are multiple circles of glass which were fused together prior to being fused a second time to the body of the figures. Small pieces of paper were added behind the manger to allow it to appear brighter. The wall piece measures appx. 10.5"x13" (18" including the protruding palm pieces). A wire is attached to the back for hanging on the wall.
