Shades of turquoise and teal combined with lime and avocado were used to create this OOAK hand beaded bib necklace.

Glass Toho beads, Swarovski crystals, seed beads, Czech crystal, silver lined bugle and 8/0 seed beads flow together in curves and ribbon-like loops.

The base, to which they were sewn, is a turquoise suede, and another layer was added to the back to cover all the stitching, and to help hold the ostrich feather fringe in place.

I really didn't keep strict hour count, but I know it took over 60 hours to complete.

Teal grosgrain ribbon ties at the back neck, so that you can adjust how far it will extend in the front.

It is designed to be worn slightly asymmetrically, with the right side higher than the rounded left side.

I made the feather fringe, by sewing bias tape to each side of an ostrich feather stem, then carefully cut away the plumage and folded the tape over the cut top and hand stitched it in place.
