A new bag style for me, this is a flat purse using decorator tapestry with a slightly Victorian/Art Nouveau flavor.



The background is black and the design is in deep olive green, subdued gold, and two shades of mauve. The back has exactly the same image placement as the front.



At the upper corners where the handle is attached there are amber acrylic jewels shaped like 5 point leaves.



The interior is lined with a black polyester peau de soie, and it closes with a magnetic snap. I took pictures of the lining before sewing it together, so that the pocket shapes and placement could be seen to better advantage. As you can see there are 3 pockets of different sizes, and rest assured there are no raw edges to be found in the interior.
