A 10" wide by 11 1/2" long, flat pouch handbag made from a dark navy denim with a slight stripe pattern, is given a unique look by the use of a nylon zipper rainbow fringe around the top edge.



The tails of various lengths are left overs from my zippered pouches, and this is my solution to recycle them! The front fringe varies in length from the orange 7 1/2" to the 2 1/2" dark green. The back has shorter lengths, from 1" to 3 1/2".



The across body strap is very long and measures

57", but can be knotted at the shoulder to make it shorter.



The lining is a bright fiesta print cotton with large mod flowers, and has 2 good sized denim pockets for your "stuff".



There is a layer of poly batting between the outer and inner fabrics so the bag is sturdy, and denim is known to wear almost forever!

I make small zipper pouches, and I had all these zipper ends left from cutting off zips to fit them, so decided to recycle the leftovers, and this is what I came up with!
