Ready to ship, 7 gore Victorian styled skirt in a medium weight cotton twill, each panel interfaced with bleached muslin for retention of shape, in a white with royal blue tattersol (windowpane) plaid. The largest rectangle is approximately 2"x 2 1/2".



All seams are overlocked, and the hem is blind stitched by machine.
Measurements: (This skirt probably a size 8-10)

Waist: 28 inches

Hips: Up to 50" ( would hang better if smaller)

Length: Center frontt. approx. 42"

C.Back the same.

Skirt Circumference: 168" or 4 2/3 yards.

The skirt is fairly straight in the front, with small darts at the waist as well as the goring, and the back is pleated along with the goring to form the full back of the 1890s. A small bustle would work with the back, or a petticoat with a very full back is recommended to help it stand out at the proper angle. I did not have a petticoat made to go under it when it was photographed.

The center back placket is 8" long (not counting the waistband) and closes with 5 faux mother of pearl 1" buttons.

This fabric was not preshrunk, so dry cleaning is recommended, rather than washing.

This skirt is ready for shipping as is, but can be ordered in any size, fabric or color you desire. Would be great in a stiff iridescent taffeta, wool gabardine, wool flannel or heavy cotton twill.
