Light catching glass beads and funky buttons adorn almost every length of cotton fabric which makes up this vibrantly colored one-of-a-kind vest.

It is constructed of pieced squares bordered by black sashing pieces, which are then set on point to make them even more striking. Each piece was sewn to a muslin base to stabilize it. Areas of piecing were used to fill in any empty spaces.

I had decided to make some multi-color, kind of wonky blocks, and when I had 7 or 8 completed, I laid them out and decided to use them in an unusual vest. The sashing really sets off the individual blocks.

The lining is a black background poly satin with hearts and stars in bright color combinations to pick up the exterior colors. My label is sewn on the lining at the back neck.

It should fit anyone from a size 10 to 14. Back measures 20 from underarm to underarm. Length is 28 from back neck to hem. There are 4" slits at the bottom of each side seam. There is no front closure.
