Historically correct unisex jerkin, with a few creative touches, suitable for pirate, cavalier or Ren Fest garb.

The front is black suede which started life as a jumper and has been transformed to a period piece. The split back is shorter than the front, and is made from a very heavy weight silky crepe.

The front closes with rawhide ties, laced through silver D-rings on a satin ribbon tape.
