A OOAK black and white check jacket styled after late 1890's Victorian silhouettes, has solid black sleeves and body parts, a nipped waist, 3 button front, and long fitted over-the-hand sleeves with puffed and gathered shoulders.

The flounced and pleated, tapering peplum accentuates the authenticity of the Victorian period look.

The long sleeves flare slightly over the hands, and have a 4" slit, which allows you to fold back the cuffs to expose the check lining, if you so desire.

The lapels are decorated with common silver colored washers on one side, and round flat silver toned beads on the other...which brings the jacket forward in time from Victorian to Steampunk...it would also work for Goth and/or Punk costuming.

There is button trim at the back corners of the peplum, and an extra button is tacked inside the front, in case one should become lost.

The jacket will fit a size 10 to 12, and has the following measurements:

Fabrics are a blend of polyester and rayon, and are soft to the touch. The collar and lapels have been interfaced to help keep their shape, but they are not stiff.
