A lovely surplice style neckline top with a baby doll raised waist, loosely fitted with elastic, shown here on my dressmaker mannequin which I have padded to echo my newest Venus of Willendorf figure measurements. I am not as busty as the top, so it appears a bit droopy.

I designed this top using 2 fabrics, both 100% cotton, and coordinated for a unique look for Summer. The floral top section is a fabric from Hoffman International, and the purples of the flowers are mirrored in the splatter paint look of the ombre toned lavender-purple lower section (or skirt, if you will).

The neckline is banded with a bias cut band matching the skirt, and the kimono style sleeves also have a matching band.

The measurements for this top are as follows: (should fit up to a size 20w...2x)

Bust 49"

Waist (under bust actually) 42" elastic relaxed... 46 1/2" stretched to limit

Sleeve length from side base of neck to bottom of sleeve.....19.5"

Total length... front-31"(measured from middle of shoulder over bust) back-31 1/4"

From center neck front to elastic under bust the measurement is 11 1/2"

From center neck back to elastic 17", so it does dip in the back..(at least the top of bodice does).

Hip at 7" below elastic is 52"

Circumference at hem 58 1/2"
