A piece from the Bejeweled series of beads. I originally created this bejeweled series a couple of years ago as part of an artistans challenge at a studio I belong to. The call was put out to create a series of work based on Inspirations, what or how do you find inspiration. I found inspiration in an advertisement for shoes created by Brian Atwood. The shoes were black and embellished with sparkling crystals. This pendant is round in shape, covered with raised turquoise dots. It is quite textural, which I love! Textural glass make great worry stones. Not only does this pendant look elegant but can also be soothing, just as a worry stone would. Beautiful sterling silver bail and fine filigree sterling silver bead caps compliment the bead.
