A truly unique handmade woven bead bracelet. Kumihimo woven bead bracelet is made using the ancient Japanese technique known as Kumihimo.

I had been making Kumihimo bracelets using seed beads when I had a brain storm. What if I could find a way to add sterling silver beads to the piece as I am weaving? I sketched out my ideas, drew up a pattern and got to work. I am thrilled with the results. I hope you will be too.

I began this bracelet using size 11 Miyuki glass seed beads, I craftily added sterling silver beads as I worked through the weaving the process. The variety of browns and golds in this bracelet are simply rich. The three silver beads have a touch of gold on them which makes the whole bracelet shine.

This bracelet measures 8 inches in length.

Miyuki Delica seed beads are uniform, size 11 glass beads
Woven using C-Lon Thread
Turkish Sterling silver beads with gold (3), Sterling bead caps and Sterling toggle clasp
All components are sterling silver
epoxy glue is used to secure the weaving threads (this is under the bead caps)
