This flower pendant is made from fine silver (.999) and features a lab grown garnet at the center. It measures just shy of one inch in diameter. It comes on an 18 inch sterling silver ball and rice chain.

The necklace will come boxed in a white box, tied with a bit of rafia and ready for gift giving.

I love vintage buttons. There are so many textures and shapes that provide me with inspiration. This particular piece is based on the shaped of a vintage button that I have in my collection. I first created a mold of that button, then used it to cast the piece. The center of the flower was drilled out to provide a setting for the lab grown ruby.

The environment is always foremost in my mind, and the fine silver (.999)I used to make my pieces is mostly recycled. The gemstones are lab grown, which is also less disruptive to the environment than mining for natural gemstones.
