Oval green jade semi precious gemstones accented with natural colored shell beads in this handmade necklace. The shell beads are ground shell formed into beads. The jade has multi tone of green with varying patterns and a silver toggle clasp completes the piece.

Care of Item:
Recommend that you store it flat and loosely folded. Hanging the necklace with stretch the flexwire and it can also kink if bent to harshly. A soft damp cloth to clean the item is all that should be needed to keep it looking pristine. We do not recommend submerging this piece in water due to the nature of the shell beads.

The strength of color in the jade stones needed a median added to it soften the pieces created with it. I opted for the shell beads for the feminine elegance they lent to the necklace.

Shell beads are manmade from natural shell that has been ground and then formed. You will see them where they have been left in their natural color state, as these have been or they can be dyed to any shade imaginable.

Oyster shell is what they are usually created from, however rarely do suppliers indicate the type of shell that has been used in their creation. Due to the versatility they are a great median with which to create with.
