Organic Pure Cane Sugar, High Oleic Safflower Oil, Polysorbate 80, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (and) Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Silica, Fruit Seeds, Botanical Fragrance Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Natural Color.

❥ Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate are derived from coconut and palm oils. They are safe, skin-friendly surfactants for both skin and hair. These mild plant derived surfactants clean without drying sensitive skin. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate readily dissolves in water, thus providing superior rinseablility.

❥ Although an ingredient's name may sound similar to another, it does not mean that the molecules are similar with respect to shape, size, performance or even function. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate sounds similar to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate sounds similar to Sodium Laureth Sulfate, however, the molecules are very different. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate are a large molecule ingredient. Large molecule ingredients are considered to be mild, gentle, and non-irritating, as they cannot penetrate the skin. In contrast, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate are a small molecule ingredient, and are capable of penetrating the skin, which can increase the occurrence of skin irritation and dermatitis.
