Our Sensitive Skin Organic Bee Beautiful Wildflower Honey Facial Cleanser, combines the healing properties of raw organic honey with gentle plant-based cleansers, for nourishing facial cleansing. We've formulated this cleanser for those with extra sensitive skin, as it's without any essential or fragrance oils, and does not include the lactic acid found in our standard Bee Beautiful Face Honey Cleanser. Also, we never use harsh sulfates, SLS or SLES (sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates).

✿ Honey is known as a natural skin softener as its emollient, and a humectant. Honey is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, suggesting it contains anti-microbial ingredients.

✿ Honey is made by bees from the nectar of flowering plants and trees. It is high in vitamins and minerals, and has wonderful benefits for the skin and hair. The honey we use has been gathered by bees visiting wildflowers.

✿ Honey is a good humectant and emollient, serving as a good moisturizer and conditioner.

✿ It offers high levels of hydrogen peroxide. Peroxide stimulates white blood cells that initiate the bodys immune response to infection. Thereby making honey the ideal treatment for skin eruptions such as mild acne.

✿ Honey contains magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium chlorine, sulfur, iron and phosphate; vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6; copper, iodine and zinc (in small amounts).

✿ Honey is a good alternative to alpha hydroxy masks because of its acid content, yet is also suitable for sensitive skin.

PLEASE NOTE: Although Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate sound similar to sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, they are not the same.
