This leaf green pen holder decorated with a white and purple orchid is a wonderful way to celebrate nature and the spring. You can use it as a decoration but it is just the right size for holding one pen.

The orchid is the point of this delicate sculpture. This flower has a white inter petals and lavender pearl outer petals. The center is delicately touched with yellow for a natural feel. The iris could stand alone.

The vessel is no ordinary little jar. It resembles a green bag holding a small secret. It wraps around and opens gently. The edges are torn to add an extra dimension to it.

This whole vessel in made of Premo polymer clay. The vessel was made by wrapping the clay over a form, which has been removed. I learned the technique from working with Christi Friesen personally.

It is definitely a mini vessel, standing a little over 2 inches (5.5 cm) tall.

During a polymer clay cruise, I was working privately with Christi Friesen. I mentioned I had tried her new wrap vessel technique, which she didn't have a lesson for, without being able to work it out.
She sent some time with me and went worked together for a while as she showed me her secret.
