Lot of 10 Peruvian blue opal hand cut faceted rondelles each approx 8 mm in diameter and varying in thickness from approx 3 mm to 5 mm and color from translucent blue to white and brown striations.

You will receive 10 stones from the exact lot pictured and I will personally make sure that you receive a nice variety of blues to browns.

Peruvian blue opal is relatively rare and is only found in the Andes mountains near San Patricio, Peru. It is a very translucent stone with color similar to the Caribbean Sea. Depending on how the stone is cut it can be clear, scenic (showing varying degrees of color) or dendritic which has black fern like inclusions.
