Solar Quartz is a rare stone and my stock is hand cut. This stone is approx 5/8 inch diameter (17 mm) and approx (4 mm) and top drilled.

Solar Quartz is the natural colorless hued variety of the Quartz family that contains a boytroidal feature within a crackled ice crystal quartz body. The features within the stone are from elements in the surrounding ground matrix when the crystal quartz is forming so depending on the specific mineral the colors can differ. The stone can be transparent to opaque in quality and has a vitreous luster. Mined in Brazil, Madagascar, India, Mozambique, Namibia, Sri Lanka, and the United States.

Be careful with wiring it, if you handle it roughly the quartz will fracture at the top since the same reason that make crystals beauty also create fracture points. Once the wire is secure the quartz will be strong enough to hold it as a pendant.
