3 ply, 100% bamboo yarn, custom spun for by Ozark Carding Mill, a local family run fiber mill. Hand painted by me in a jewel toned sea blue.

This yarn is 2600 yards per pound sold in a 4 oz, 650 yd skein. The bamboo fiber in this yarn gives a lovely sheen and a beautiful drape to the fabric, whether woven or knitted.

For weavers this is equivalent to a 6/2 cotton or tencel. For knitters, this would be a lace weight yarn.


For weavers the sett information would be as follows:

Tabby 25 max, 20 Linens, 18 clothing, 12 delicate fabrics.

Twill 30 max, 27 Linens, 24 clothing, 18 delicate fabrics.

For knitters I recommend 00 knitting needles for regular knitting and size 4 or 5 for lace knitting. I usually use about 5 - 8 oz for a lace triangle shawl. I used 6.8 oz for the EZ 100th Anniversary PI shawl(insert ravelry link info here) shown in the last photo on size 6 needles.
