I would recommend measuring your favorite shirt the same way and then comparing to the chart below.

The shirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton unisex T shirts.

XL: 24" wide, 31" long

2X: 26.5" wide, 31" long

3X: 28.5" wide, 32.5" long

4X: 29.5" wide, 33" long

5X: 31.5" wide, 34" long
