Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I did this ornament for a contest that challenged me to come up with an item with an apple theme. The ornament was inspired by the following story:

Zeus held a banquet to celebrate the marriage of Peleus and Thetis, and he invited everyone except Eris, the goddess of discord. So she threw out a golden apple labeled "for the fairest," and the goddesses Hera (queen of the gods), Athena (goddess of wisdom), and Aphrodite (goddess of love) started fighting over the apple. So Zeus chose Paris of Troy to choose the fairest goddess. The three goddesses tried to bribe Paris. Hera promised he'd rule the world. Athena promised he'd be wiser than some of the gods. And Aphrodite promised him the most beautiful woman in the world. Paris chose Aphrodite and gave her the golden apple, and she gave him Helen of Troy, which eventually led to the Trojan War.

The ornament has more apples swirling around Aphrodite, because she is the one Paris chose as the fairest. There are also green swirls symbolizing Eris' discord.
