This unique fabric postcard is made with the selvedge edge of the fabric showing the registration numbers and colors. Fabrics are securely sewn down and the edge is finished with a satin stitch using a white thread.

The back can be written on and then sent through the mail, or use the clear envelope that is included if you'd rather mail it that way. Or pop it in a 4" x 6" picture frame and give as a gift, or keep for yourself. (Picture frame and easel not included.)


The selvedge (or selvage) is the edge of the fabric that often has the designer's name and the colored dots that were printed on that particular piece of fabric. For many years quilters cut off these edges and threw them away but I think they are too interesting graphic wise to just get rid of them.
