Frame: 14" x 18" (36 x 46 cm)

This is an original watercolor painting of the Dairy Barn in Athens, Ohio, it is in matted and framed with the quilt square that is in the painting. There is some tradition in the midwest to paint quilt squares on barns, although the real Dairy Barn has a different emblem where I put the quilt square.

The other photo shows a close-up of the fabric quilt square.

Every other year the Dairy Barn hosts "Quilt National" one of the premiere national shows featuring art quilts. I took a photo of the building when I was there for the exhibition.
