Belle Epoque French Can Can Dancer Pink Crinolines Blank Card

Product Description

In an exquisite pose, this Can Can dancer is nearly buried in her voluminous crinolines with one leg enticingly exposed. A copy of the original was hand colored by me and glitter added so the effect is of a dark cabaret with smoky lights in the background. Ivory card stock with matching envelope comes in a re-sealable cellophane envelope.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

While roaming the Paris and London flea markets in search of antique textiles and clothing, I would come across entire booths devoted to antique postcards and ephemera, and I instantly fell in love with these captured images of 100 years ago. My collection of these postcards has grown and I love to be able to share them now!
