cream-colored mesh purse dates from the early 1940's. Made with "bubble" metal mesh instead of the flat mesh used throughout the 20's and 30's. This design is roomier and more practical, befitting the war years. Celluloid frame has a large kiss clasp and a lovely celluloid chain strap.

Inside lining is deep navy blue faille with whiting and Davis alumesh tag in tack.

Size: bag measures 10" wide X 7" high, with a 16" chain.
Condition: prefect, lining color is still true, no rips or tears or stains
